An Eldar Army (hopefully)

Hey everyone!

I’m back in action with a new video series. Before getting back to Elrond I needed some relaxing painting. I’ve Eldar on the mind constantly so I’m diving in! I feel super guilty with all my unfinished army projects so I’m trying to overcome that and get this done, searching for a more achievable standard.

This first part is more of an intro and waffle, but next week I will do the Autarch from start to finish .

Awesome. Makes loads of sense. Thanks.

It’s kind of a long answer but in a nutshell I recommend learning with 0.4. It is more predictable and has fewer problems. A 0.2 can produce finer lines but blocks so easily. That’s why I use the method of “trimming” the highlights by going back in with the black. Hope that’s helps

Does the airbrush have a factor in the tightness of the highlights? I’m at the start of my airbrush journey and have recently bought the evolution. Am I correct in thinking the infinity has a 0.2 tip compared to the 0.4 of the evolution? Will this affect the ability to get those lovely highlights or is it just down to skill and experience?

Well, this is right up my alley! Really excited for this project, this is the encouragement I need to get my own Ulthwe done!
