December Patreon Release Schedule
Added 2020-12-06 05:16:25 +0000 UTCOk. The chaos has ended, between Pipi chewing the corner of my old laptop's screen, another of my cousins catching covid, my grandfather refusing to take his medication, my uncles leaving a bunch of work to me that I hadn't expected to have to do - the last two-ish weeks have left me dizzy.
So. Pretty soon I am going to dump a bunch of chapters on RR and hopefully catch the deadinline for the NaNoWriMo contest.
After that, I will be focusing on releasing chapters for Patrons for the next two and a half weeks. That gives me 17 days to get 11 chapters up here on Patreon.
From Dec. 22nd to Jan 4th I will be on break. (Well, technically I suppose it will be until Jan 3rd, because I plan to spend Jan 3rd and 4th writing the two chapters that Patreons will be getting on the 4th.
Any other year I would be worried about getting those chapters done over this time, but my family isn't gathering this year. So all the time I would have spent eating cookies and catching up with my cousins will be spent writing.
~annnyway, I am going to get those chapters on RoyalRoad and then type until I pass out.
You can expect at least one chapter release tonight, possibly two.

P.s. Thank you all for your patience, I will try to be more communicative in the future.

Don't overwork yourself. While I'm all for more chapters if you set yourself an impossible goal you'll either jar yourself and your motivation or you'll produce a lot of junk to meet the quota. If you think you'll manage quantity and quality like it's nothing I'm the last one to mind, but if you feel at any one point that it's a mountain so steep it'll crash you or the story, take a step back, breath and take your time.

2020-12-09 19:10:14 +0000 UTCSo your dog's name is Pipi, that's adorable. I hope your cousin will get better soon. Your grandfather not wanting to take the medicines sounds like a typical, older person to me, it's sad, but they often don't want to take medicines or go to see a doctor, until it's very obvious they have to. About last paragraph, I feel you, whenever I try to write down my worldbuilding notes from my head onto WORD file, I lose any motivation to do it. Not exactly the same situation, but similar I believe?

2020-12-06 07:37:55 +0000 UTCI would like to recommend you try to post at least a chapter a week on Royalroad for December for the health of your story. The reason being that update frequency/consistency tends to play quite a large role for stories on RR and going a month with no updates there may lose some of the traction your story has gained; honestly as much as the chapter dump you did was appreciated, it may have been better to spread them out over your intended break there.

2020-12-06 06:58:19 +0000 UTCI think she's a ways away from that. We'll likely see that _after_ the upcoming [REDACTED].

2020-12-06 05:22:57 +0000 UTCThanks for the update :) You are doing a better job than most authors in keeping your Patreons up to date on what is going on. Best of luck
