PODCAST DAY!

Today I'm discussing solo careers and shipping. (If the episode is not live keep checking it should be at any minute.)

Do your faves have what it takes? And the ones that do, what do I consider metrics for a successful solo?

Shipping, why is it fun but also what are some of the dangers?

There is one way to explain why same sex shipping in Kpop appears to be much more accepted than that in the West. The fact that homosexual marriage is not legalized in South Korea means that in most cases, shipping will result in nothing. Boys still have to marry girls and vice versa. So, for many fans, the fantasy of getting in a relationship with their idols is still possible. While in the West, homosexuality is recognized and more accepted, so if you're conceived gay, you remain gay. There is no way back. Whereas in South Korea, except that you officially come out, how you act and behave doesn't matter that much in the end.
