Is it all negative if black producers/choreographers are also finding work and opportunities via this channel?

Adopting what's great from other cultures is a good thing so long as its acknowledged and is respectful. The whole of K-pop is built on cultural appropriation in the sense that they are putting their own spin on non-Korean genres of music. I'm completely agree with you on the disappointing choreography with afrobeat songs though. TXT's Tinnitus is maybe my favourite K-pop afrobeat song but I don't like watching performances of it because the choreo is so disappointing.
