This definitely joins Stray Kids as my favourite concerts I've ever watched! They LEFT EVERYTHINGG on that stage and gave their all AND the microphones were ON!!!!!!!!!
The setlist also kept things interesting without staying in one vibe for too long, there was such a sense of freedom in how they performed YET they still have disciplined to deliver great choreo moments and stage presence.
My heart belongs to my fellow Taurean KING RYOKI. JESUS. His personality and freedom of expression is soooo endearing, I love him!
Manato SOARED here. He dominated and was the vocal foundation to the songs and just had a strong and steady reliable sound at all times. Junon also but also my hunny Shunto. I really enjoy them all for different things. Leo really surprised me with his consistency too and then SOTA'S DANCING!! JESUS. Ryuhei's adorable and ALSO had the most beautiful vocal moments.
This was soo fun to experience and as made me a fan. I'm glad i know them all by name now and i'll absolutely check out more of their work!

I also agree with what you said about some of their songs – that even if we don't vibe with some of them, it's still enjoyable because they're performers who love to perform. anyway, not sure if you'll react to more BE:FIRST in the future (they have a 2024-2025 concet available to stream on Prime!) but thank you so much for this!

I actually went to this live concert, and I’ve watched it many times on Prime Video, but seeing first-time reactions is always so much fun. If you have a Prime Video subscription, you can watch this dome concert and some of their past live performances with English subtitles. Some translations are a bit inaccurate, but you’ll still be able to understand everything they say and all the lyrics. As for why Shunto and the other members were laughing a lot during Shining One, it’s because the high stage was shaking more than expected, which they found amusing. Meanwhile, Manato, who is afraid of heights, was really scared, which made it even funnier! They were formed through an audition program called THE FIRST. Unlike traditional auditions, it was more like a documentary that sincerely focused on music. The heartwarming story was so moving that it became a big topic in Japan. Some of the songs from the dome concert you watched are actually a medley of songs they created during the audition. You can watch the entire series on YouTube, so I highly recommend checking it out! I ended up writing a lot, but I hope you’ll continue to enjoy their music. They’re starting their first world tour next month—if you ever get the chance, I’d love for you to see them live!

2025-03-09 14:30:36 +0000 UTCmy befirst 😊 still not the biggest fan of their music but man i love performers that love to perform i only watched their audition show less than a year ago after knowing them for a while and its very interesting because they really were unpolished gems there, some VERY unpolished (which is also what gives them the flavour) so you get invested in their grouth and damn do they grow! and keep improving they have variety stuff in their channel with subs under the folders [Be the one] and [youre my besty], they are just a bunch of lads being silly so is entertaining and cute, but nothing crazy as it is not as high production or as scripted as most kpop variety. So they have a few shows on youtube. The fandom name is Besty so they have a series you can watch. One being 'you're my Besty' along with the other one called 'Be The One' both are very fun and subbed by their company. If you know the Japanese rapper Sky Hi, who's worked wth Stray Kids, he's the owner of their company and does a lot of their music. I'm so glad someone else reacted to them like I did cause I thought I was glazing them a lil bit lol but I'm looking forward to your befirst stuff!

The way you pretty much had them memorized except for ryuhei and then got Ryuhei early on that was so fun watching you trying to figure it out 😭 Also I had the exact same reaction as you when I found out Junon was the oldest LIKE WHAT??? Their vocals are what immediately got me into them so seeing you enjoying their vocals and performance and the insane amount of energy they put on stage was great!! Oh btw the song with Junon, Leo, Manato, and Ryuhei is called Softly, and the second song they sang, the one after Gifted is, Mainstream

It felt raw in a way, if that makes sense, different from kpop were everything is slick and, that’s very refreshing. There was a lot of songs that weren’t my cup of tea but was still enjoying because of how much THEY were enjoying it. Also the vocals ?? Chiefkiss they were doing 3/4 of the job for me. Ryoki is a whole character 😭. Anyway, I was already kinda familiar with them but would have never watched their concert without your reaction so thank you 🙏🏽
