But I'm definitely looking forward to the next episode a lot more.
The TALENT between all the groups is INSANE. My absolute fave is the red haired. She's such a TALENT!!

Also side note, manequeen continually cracks me up. When yoonji and redllic started sobbing because they were so moved by the teenagers and bebe were poking fun at them. The internet can never make me hate manequeen 😂

2025-02-14 19:54:28 +0000 UTCOne thing that always kind of grinded my gears was how mnet decided to format this show. I always found it highly disrespectful for them to let these groups audition under the pretense that they would be competing with their own dance teams. To completely blindside these girls and say that they're only accepting 7 per crew the day of is insane to me. ESPECIALLY for the groups who travelled for the show, I can't even imagine the rollercoaster of emotions they went through. Mnet easily could've advertised the show for people to audition individually and would have gotten the same turn out considering the opportunity to be mentored by such famous dancers. Because of this, I think that's why majority of the mentor groups didn't have a well thought out process in selecting the girls as it definitely seemed sprung on them to decide. Regardless, I did really love all of the groups that were formed in the end. All of these young girls had crazy amount of leadership to be able to work together with people they have never danced with before. Not to mention the insane talent they all have individually. I'm excited to see how you react once the show starts to pick up a little more!

2025-02-14 10:16:17 +0000 UTCloved your reaction as always !! i'm with you on miyabi, she's been my favorite from the start too she's such a gem, so so talented at such a young age, i'm excited to see how she'll grow in the future and to satisfy your curiosity (maybe ? but take it with a grain of salt) as to why jam republic's pic only had 6 members : minjung (the blue haired girl) quit after, and the official reason is a "shoulder injury" but from what we know (from NO LIP's socials and what eunwoo, the split hair girl, implied later) they possibly gave them an ultimatum to either quit the show or quit their original crew (they chose to participate at first not knowing the crews would be disbanded and ig they were salty about seeing minjung and eunwoo be selected, but also could be their management who started this, ig we'll never know ?) only eunwoo chose to stay in the end (and thank God for that) and NO LIP has been shading her on their sns since then (and the only time she mentionned them shows she clearly doesn't like them)
