Here we have the usual drama for sure BUT some moments of camaraderie coming out, I hope to see more of that and cute moments which I'm sure I'll see.
JAM republic are A FORCE! That choreo for Le Sserafim HIT! AUDREY is a BEAST! I really want MANNEQUEEN to be more likeable, they're just sooo intense and I'm glad it was mentioned but they have moments of being endearing, I'd like to see more of that.
Can't WAIT for the next episode!

Because of the tension and lack of camaraderie shown I've actually never made it past the first two episodes of this season. Like you said we are seeing moments of it so hopefully I will this time! I really really liked the first season though so I do hope you watch that one as well

2024-06-22 04:54:52 +0000 UTCSo I heard from someone in the performance world that the thing with Latrice style to arranging choreo and directing is more common for music videos in the US as they don’t solidify the positioning frame by frame already in their head with specific choreo formations but kind of use the camera angling and shots to decide each frame during the shoot. That’s why everyone would be learning similar things but they would arrange who’s in the frame and all that through the camera positioning and angles. In Korea, it’s a different culture where these things are decided frame by frame in advance and they fill in the choreo with that in mind. As for Kirsten helping Latrice, tbh I don’t mind it that much. Last season, literally in one of the groups the main dancer straight up said they don’t know how and what to do w directing and get help from the group and Monica. At this point they already got the main dancer position on the basis of their danceability, it’s not like they get judged to lose or win points w their directing skill. Performing and directing are different skill. Jsut bc you’re the best choice to feature the video doesn’t mean you’re also good at directing. It’s not like Latrice or other girls get penalized if Latrice get help. If anything, with help, Latrice can make a better end product and that ultimately would help the group shine. The directing right is a privilege not a penalty so I don’t think it’s a big deal to get help. Like Rena got help from her group and no one thought it’s unfair. I think since the show never forbid getting help so I can’t fault Latrice on that. She’s also in a room w a bunch of girls who already got tension w her and she’s not fully confident w her decisions and wanted some confirmation from Kirsten. It’s really not such a bad thing. I think it’s strange for them to choose to see it in such a negative way.

I feel like it's a combination of them being extremely passionate and playing it up for the camera during certain times. I have grown to like them a lot more during street girl fighter season 2 (the show for high school girls). They were one of the mentor crews including several other crews from this season. You can truly see how silly and sweet they are after the stress of this show lol.

2024-06-19 15:09:58 +0000 UTCThere is definitely a power dynamic between Redlic and Latrice, I can’t 100% blame Redlic, because from her perspective and most of the girls Latrice didn’t have solid decisions. She went to Kirsten to be her second voice (Kirsten shouldnt have been involved honestly), and Redlic put her self in the position of the UNWANTED second voice. In their eyes, Latrice was unreliable to lead, but still… girl SNAPPED, she was fire 🔥
