ANYWAY These episodes were very enjoyable and Jay, Je Up & Solomon's groups are where it's at for me, the rest can go! lol
Jay's group is LITERALLY perfectly balanced and he seems to be the top runner in this show and the judges rightfully love him.

2024-03-20 11:09:59 +0000 UTCMay be bc I know the song Nakka and Akmu so well that the performance didn’t do much for me lol it was good but nothing more than a decent cover bc akmu og song was already so good and had lots of interesting blend and harmonies and when AKMU performed this song live, it got some similar blend and rift to what the boys are going here. That’s why I wasn’t super impressed w their arrangement, and tbh Akmu sounded better live on this track bc there was more contrast between the duo voices so it’s a more dynamic balance. Alll three of them sang the song in the same exact way so some of the volley on and off between each members don’t sound as fun for me. Only Je Hu stood out in the group but not by a lot. It’s a cute performance but there’s more potential for more dynamics to make it more competitive than just singing the song almost exactly as is. There were moments where they could change it up a little more as the song progresses. So it’s kinda of a meh performance for me

And the whole thing was 20 mins ahaha. But ep 8 will still be out at the usual time I think so nothing different there.

Also, there seems to be an interim Build Up episode airing in a few hours. Not sure what it is, but I'll let you know if I end up watching it. Kind of out of the blue though.

I swear Mnet is trying to give me grey hairs with all these eliminations. Let's just say I'm in denial that Neon is gone... and if Jay doesn't make the final lineup I'm quitting Kpop for good ahaha.

2024-03-11 14:59:02 +0000 UTCSo sad for the Nakka team they did so well 🥺. But also see the difference between Seohyung from Joker and the guy that did Forest? One was willing to experiment and try new genres and the other was just straight up selfish and didn't want to take ONE step out of his comfort zone. It's fine to only excel at one genre if that's the music you want to make but then don't join a show like this if you know you aren't versatile. This is a vocal showcase competition not a BALLAD competition. So sad NEON was forced to work with him.
