My favorite Performances of the night. Both Stray Kids and TXT slayed their performances and both walked away with a VMA Award. I am happy for Stray Kids winning 2023 VMA Best K-POP, and Stray Kids’ surprise reactions when they won Best K-POP too cute. Lucky lucky Yeonjun getting to spend fun birthday weekend at the VMAs, debuting a and performing a brand new song with his members, and then TXT winning the 2023 VMA Push Performance of the Year, and finishing their fun VMA experience with Anitta at her Afterparty. I am happy TXT got to work with Ryan Tedder from OneRepublic because Ryan Tedder wrote and produced Back For More. I am also happy TXT and Ryan Tedder gave and gifted us 5 versions of Back For More.

Maybe a controversial opinion: while I appreciate that TXT went for live vocals, I almost wish they used more of the backing track, especially for the release of a new song. I heard the full track before I saw the performance, but if I hadn't, I think I would have preferred to hear more of the melody on a first listen.
