ZEROBASEONE Album Review!

I hope this is a starting point to better material.
Still a C+ overall.

I really loved how cohesive this album was sound-wise! I agree that it does sound a little low-budget but to be honest I kind of expected that and idek why (probably the knowledge that Wakeone had something do with their debut lolll). Hopefully with all the success they're seeing we get higher quality stuff for their 1st comeback, but I think this is a great starting point and basis for them establishing their own "niche" for lack of a better term, and I personally think every song on the album gets better on every listen.

Overall I was happy that the ep wasn't as generic as I feared it to be and this fresh, soft concept suits them really well and I hope they won't ditch it immediately for the next comeback. And I definitely have to agree, the production and mixing wasn't the best imo as well. I'm hpoing with all the money this ep brought them in they'll upgrade that for the next comeback. But anyways, I'm excited to see all the stages in the next few days!!
