As someone who loved the early 2010's with the Kesha's, the Katy's, the Selena's, IVE is bringing back that sound. to keep it kpop, they're very 2nd gen coded like they're just having fun with it. the lyrics shouldnt be analyzed, they werent intended to. im enjoying myself very much even if im the only one lol. keep up with the content, sir.

The moment wonyoung buckles from the pressure and takes a hiatus from a comeback or leaves then they will not be a group anymore. As much as people hate it wonyoung is what makes the group so memorable and has always been the face of the group.

So if people find a song catchy, they will let a lot of things pass. I don't know if most people take pop lyrics too seriously anyways. I like all of the songs except "I am", for some reason I really don't like that song (3/10).

I feel like a lot of IVE's side tracks dont have a lot of depth they're kinda just pushing out semi-catchy songs but its such a contrast to their title tracks that just seem to have a little more. i also rewatched Ceecee's reaction to Taeyeon's killing voice and lowkey wanna see her reaction to Big Mamas just for the vocals/maturity they have that I feel a lot of newer groups lack.

I am not condoning Love Dive’s lyrics and they do need to do better (considering the multiple incidents/backlash) ( Maybe Im being too serious might delete this comment later lol) Sorry for getting kinda political and turning this into a history lesson. But a lot of people aren’t aware that South Korea hasn’t been the developed country the world sees now for that long. context that might explain why SK is stunted socially as a society in certain ways is because until the end of WW2 (1940s)SK was under the harsh control of Japan colonization and before that China. After Korea gained independence, Korea was run by a series of authoritarian/military governments until I think 1987 when they actually began having direct presidential elections every five years. (That was less than 40 years ago)

I loved Eleven and most of IVE's debut tracks, but I thought Love Dive was an average song, a 6/10. I have ignored Kitsch, because it doesn't even sound like Kpop to me. That song is just boring, repetitive, western pop. I hope it was a one-off.
