Don't get me wrong, I love kpop and many different groups...but I hardly hear criticism in reaction videos online. Everything is always sugarcoated or praised to perfection. Idols are human and have faults, and not every song can fit everyone's taste. I think a lot of it stems from fans not being able to take criticism well and thus just bullying people for their opinions. What's art without critique? I went to art school and have my degree in art, so I've sat through a ton of critiques in my life, and it's far from easy... especially if you put endless hours into something, but you grow from it. Idols are definitely on a higher level with their talents, but they're not perfect.

2023-04-02 02:40:54 +0000 UTCI think new jeans brought a little bit back this playfulness, freshness and easiness to kpop.. away from forceful choreographies (some girl groups look like marionettes whilst dancing) and with addictive and youthful sound which appeals a lot of young people. I like them a lot but don’t like any of their songs (if that makes sense).. just not my taste.. maybe I am too old already..rather wait for XG‘s next comeback.. these girls really impressed me with their song choice, sound and singing capabilities.

You might still see it but I searched IVE's new song to watch the mv and reactions popped up and it was a huge shocked face with giant captions like 'OMG NEW TREND' and right below was another giant unnatural smile and 'IT'S SO TRENDY!' 2023-03-28 14:20:42 +0000 UTCperioddd I’ve grown to be obsessed with your channel because of how honest you are about a good song… seeing other people dislike the song isn’t a bad thing because it shows a different side of the song that you don’t see beforehand, but I’ve noticed A LOT of K-pop is getting stale and boring as well as concepts which I think new ggs are doing well but other groups are failing to do.. hope to see the rest of 2023 saved by XG and an aespa cb

The cheesy Loon bird call cracked me up because that's how they woo. Now it's just grown on me but I can't stand the mv. A lot of the creepy stuff they try to do is pulled from a famous horror franchise a lot of girl groups use motifs from called Whispering Corridors which was 90s to early 2000s but there's always something to pull it back from Whispering Corridors for the tackiest reason - a lot of girls were more than just friends in that series. Seriously though - thank you for posting a video that isn't just non-stop praise... it's exhausting searching up a song on youtube and it's all the same shocked/excited thumbnails even if I love the group.

A lot of these kpop fans think disliking a song is a personal attack on the members. Constructive criticism is a good thing and can foster growth. The girls are talented but sometimes the material given isn't it and that's okay. Keep on doing what you do. I love y'all

When you love what you love and are confident in that, watching someone watch something they don’t like is hilarious. I love Ditto still one of my top songs of the year and CeeCee reaction was so entertaining I would like more.
