She has been hugely influenced by Mariah AND Beyoncé and she actually sings a Beyoncé song in the episode because it was one of the first songs she ever performed on stage when she was younger at a talent show! Yuri was the main vocalist in IZ*One alongside Chaewon! (They often both get mistaken as each other along with Choi Yena and have a nickname as a trio called JoYuriz because Yuri looks like both of them and they all look similar when together but Chaewon and Yena don't necessarily look a lot alike when next to each other lol its a big joke among them and fans that has also reached the press and industry.) I would also love if you checked out her solo stuff! Her main title tracks Glassy, Love Shh! and Loveable might not be exactly your style but her bsides are amazing and her tone is GORGEOUS and her agility is insane she has bunch of amazing covers and OSTs too!
