I agree, it definitely hits different when the MEMBERS have their hands in a song; jooheon knows his members best, he gives them the parts that suit them and allow us to see new potentials for each member Ever since Jooheon started doing the title tracks (he has been doing b-sides since debut) i feel like that let him/MX really decide their trajectory musically and conceptually as a group. And it makes their music that much more refined and meaningful.
