Update on my Patreon page, MEGA, Life and so on...

Hey everyone!

I feel deeply sorry and ashamed of myself and it's humiliating how things are going...

As you know, the pages have stopped being active from the 5th of this month. So, all the pledges made from that day on were refunded.

I paused the billing cycle for all my projects, so you won't be charged for the next months.

Time for the elephant in the room:

I contacted the MEGA support and i can tell it's so far one of the worst experiences i've had since i started animating. Not only they took weeks for to reply to my ticked, but they didn't provide any detailed explanation of the ToS they think i broke. All they told me was that my account was terminated due to a breach of MEGA's Terms of Service including clause 15.7. It can't be restored and i cannot open a new one. So, i'm screwed.

Now, i read those terms and i didn't do any of that. The only thing i did that may caused this was that i had an access through another device/position. I doubt it was a manual report, because it's simply unconceivable the quickness of such takedown (Only 1 hour and a half after i made the last videos public) and entire weeks to reply to a single user. 

I don't know exactly how things went. So, i sent another ticket that probably will have a reply within the next weeks or will be ignored. 

It's simply unacceptable for me to have my account terminated after 4 years without a fair warning or detailed reasons. So, if you're a creator, i highly recommend you stop using a service like that if you don't want to risk to end up like me. 

Luckily, all the finished videos are safe and stored on my computers, except Classy but gassy 60fps remastered (Which can be found on my Youtube and Twitter) and mostly wips from the old videos from the previous years.

Whenever i decide to comeback, i think i may be hosting my downloads only on Mediafire or OneDrive. I'm not wasting my time on a platform that legit damages your work and you morally, accusing you of doing something against their ToS without further explanation and having all your content taken down without any notice. If you're mad at me for the whole situation i don't blame you. I just feel so letdown, disappointed and burned out and, if i ever broke any of their ToS, i want to know what did i do wrong, what are the offending files and, at least, explain my position.

Speaking of something else, this hiatus has given me benefits both physically and mentally. I rarely get a headache and i generally feel lesser depressed, unsatisfied and anxious. I can say it's getting better.

I'm not planning to come back anytime soon and i'm working on new stuff only when i feel the need to, max 1 day a week. It's sad to say, but i feel better off when i'm not working or doing anything at all. At the moment, the only thought of being in front of a PC running that mess of a program or dealing with one of the many shenanigans mentioned above gives me already so much frustration that i simply can't help but wanting to stay away from all of that. 

I never felt so intoxicated before and it's better to keep myself away for a while, before it will really take a negative toll on my will to keep animating. There's just too much negativity, stress and anxiety in me right now, and i'm putting aside my IRL problems for now. 

I thank all the loyal supporters of my projects once again for keeping the embers burning. Even if the page has been inactive, you still donated and i don't know if i deserve it.

Sorry for the rant and thanks for your comprehension and support. Hoping to see you soon, with new content and not another post like this.
