As you can see, I've decided on a title for my previously announced Robotnik nideo. Robotnik will be tackling the complex geopolitical issue that is the existence of Steven Universe. My brain has been swarming with ideas for this new YTP, and I've been having a blast trying out different edits for it.

I don't know how long this one will be, but I will try not to let the production get out of control. After my last nideo (Robotnik's 9/11 Special) I've realized that sometimes keeping it short and sweet is a pretty swell course of action. I'm aiming for something under 7 minutes, as I can always save any extra ideas I have for future Robotnik content. We'll see what happens, though.

Fesh Pince 4:

Fesh Pince 4 editing has felt much less stressful since I started working on other projects alongside it, but I will be fully transparent - I'm still having trouble with it. While most of the project is already complete, there are still a few scenes that I'm just not satisfied with yet. It's frustrating to me because I really like where I'm going with most of these scenes, but they're lacking a certain oomph. It's like they're almost there, but I can't quite figure out the missing elements to make them feel complete. I've been repeatedly tweaking them and trying out different variations to get the best possible results.

I spend a lot of time scanning through episodes and transcripts for more workable material, and it does eventually lead to good results, but it can be very time consuming. I've had so many edits that almost worked perfectly, but I just couldn't find the right content within Fresh Prince to tie it together. Often it's due to a sentence mix just not panning out correctly.

A good while back, I compiled a text document with transcripts from every single episode of Fresh Prince in order to make sentence mixing more efficient. Problem is, those transcripts do not list which character is speaking. That's partly why it's been easier to work on my Robotnik YTP, as the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog transcripts I complied are extremely detailed - including the names of the characters speaking, and even descriptions of each character's actions.

Say for instance I wanted to find a clip of Carlton saying "hungry," I would have to do a search for that word and use context clues within the transcript to try and determine if it is indeed Carlton who is speaking. I then need to pull up the episode itself and search to locate the line within it (the transcript does not have timestamps) then listen to see if he says it clearly and in the right tone to fit with my conceptual sentence mix. Not the ideal setup for efficiency.

If anyone is aware of some better transcripts for Fresh Prince that include the names of the characters speaking, please do let me know. It would help immensely.

I've probably said a lot of this before; please excuse my repetitive ranting. I just like to ramble about this stuff to certified swell beings such as yourselves. Any of my pooping struggles are trivial compared to how grateful I am to be able to make nideos for folks like you who enjoy them. It's all worth it.

While progress has remained steady, I unfortunately have to admit that I'm not going to meet my previous goal of releasing Fesh Pince 4 this year. I have so much of it already completed, and I am happy with most of it - but those scenes (one of which is a pretty major scene towards the end) just aren't there for me yet. I fully understand and sympathize if anyone is let down by that. I'll keep working on it until I get it right - and I absolutely will not, under any circumstances, make you wait another entire year for it. This dang thing is getting done in 2026 one way or another. We ain't having a "THREE YEARS LATER" situation for Fesh Pince 4 - as fitting as that would be.

I am wondering if I should perhaps shelve some of the weaker scenes, and either release them later as deleted scenes, or rework them to use for a future "Fesh Pince Junior" installment. Some of them tie in really well to the rest of FP4, so it's a difficult decision, but I'll give it some thought. Once again, I am sorry for the long ass wait. We're getting there - I just have to keep at it.

Reminder about the delay for FP4 in relation to future nideos:

My next nideo after FP4 won't take nearly as long to complete as FP4 is taking. It's very important for me to make sure FP4 lives up to the legacy of the previous installments, so I'm taking as much time as necessary to come up with worthy edits, and to polish the hell out of it. FP4 is also significantly longer than my usual nideos - adding to the delay. After it's complete, I'll focus on making nideos that aren't as absurdly long, and my upload cadence will be more reasonable.

Closing thoughts:

Since November is the month that we are encouraged to suckle turkey flesh and be thankful in America, it is very much a fitting time to share my thankfulness towards you swell members. I wouldn't be able to do what I do without all of you, and it means the world to me that you care enough to keep on supporting me in doing what I love. It adds a lot of meaning to my life - as silly as that may sound. I absolutely love seeing everyone's reactions to the weird shit I make, and having this smaller cozy group of swell patrons to share some of the inside details with is really special to me.

I genuinely hope life is going well for you all - and if it isn't, I hope the stupid shit that is preventing it from going well improves so you can be happy once more. Wishing you all the very best, and from the bottom of my heart:

-Work on "Robotnik Destroys Steven Universe" has been going quite well! I've got tons of ideas for it and the project has been progressing swiftly. I'm going to try to limit the scope of it so it doesn't take forever to finish. I'm aiming for something shorter than 7 minutes, but I won't make any promises on the length. If I come up with too many ideas to fit in, I'll likely save them for a future Robotnik YTP.

-Sadly, FP4 will not be completed by the end of the year as I had previously hoped, but I'm going to make damn sure it doesn't take another full year - despite the fact that it releasing "THREE YEARS LATER" would be quite fitting. I apologize once more for the delay - this project has been so chaotic due to the sheer scope of it. I'll keep trying my best to get it out ASAP whilst still maintaining the quality I'm aiming for. It will release in 2026 for certain.
