Robotnik's 9/11 Special:

September's surprise nideo! I was pretty happy with how this one turned out. Very early in September (I wanna say the 3rd?) I had the idea to make a YTP where Captain Rescue stops 9/11. The idea stemmed from me thinking about the line where he says "I'll stop those pesky planes!" and it snowballed from there.

As I started editing it, I came up with more and more ideas, but I had to limit myself in order to get it done in time for 9/11. I wish I had thought of the nideo concept sooner, so I could have taken my time and made it longer and more polished. I only had a week, and during the last 2 days I didn't do almost anything besides edit, sleep, shower and eat. Not the healthiest or smartest move, but it paid off. I got it uploaded right before 9/11 ended on the west coast. Later than I wanted, but good enough.

Hope you all enjoyed it! Despite the crunch - it was a blast to make.

Don't pinch me... don't scream... I confess FP4 progress this month was a bit worse than last month, but that's only because I spent the first week of September entirely focused on making Robotnik's 9/11 Special. It was well worth it in my opinion, though. Taking a short break from FP4 to edit something else helped me come back to FP4 with a fresh mind and new ideas. My brain starts to stagnate when all I'm doing is manipulating the Banks family for months on end.

Despite the setback, I still managed to make some additions and improvements to FP4. For those of you that saw the Sneak Peek from earlier, that is a newer segment that I recently spruced up. There is more to it than what I shared, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Love the feeling I get when I have an underwhelming section of the nideo and I manage to overhaul it into something worthwhile.

I'll keep on smacking away at FP4, as always. Thanks for being patient with me on this one, swell pals!

Reminder about the delay for FP4 in relation to future nideos:

My next nideo after FP4 won't take nearly as long to complete as FP4 is taking. It's very important for me to make sure FP4 lives up to the legacy of the previous installments, so I'm taking as much time as necessary to come up with worthy edits, and to polish the hell out of it. FP4 is also significantly longer than my usual nideos - adding to the delay. After it's complete, I'll focus on making nideos that aren't as absurdly long, and my upload cadence will be more reasonable.

*This time around, I'm refraining from posting a screenshot, because I realized that some people may want to read these posts without being spoiled about anything in regards to FP4, and a big ass screenshot on the post is not really feasible to ignore. Do let me know if you want the monthly screenshots back, because I'm sure I can come up with a solution that doesn't spoil anyone - like linking the screenshot.

Future Plans:

After posting Robotnik's 9/11 Special, I was hit with a wave of inspiration; I now have several nideo ideas that I'd like to tackle once I'm done with Fesh Pince 4. Some of these ideas are in very early stages, and not guaranteed to pan out - but one in particular has me very inspired, and I am fairly certain I'll be able to get some good material out of it.

I had previously announced that my next nideo after FP4 would be the Roseanne YTP, but I have decided to put that on the back-burner, and instead focus on the aforementioned nideo ideas. Don't worry, though! That does not mean the Roseanne YTP is cancelled. I will return to it eventually, and I apologize to anyone who was looking forward to it. I just think it's best if I focus on stuff that's giving me the most inspiration. That's the best recipe for making a good nideo.

As a result of this change of plans, I've started to second guess if this "Future Plans" section is a good idea in its current form. The last thing I want to do is get someone hyped up for something, only to abruptly decide I'd be better off working on a different nideo.

I'll be rethinking if this section will return in future monthly update posts, and if it does - how exactly I'll change it. For now, I'll keep my new nideo ideas to myself until they are a bit further along, just to make sure I don't disappoint anyone if there is a change of plans. Regardless of if this sections stays or not - remember that I'm always working on something new.

Closing thoughts:

Welp, September was better than August for me - that's for sure. Not perfect, but a much appreciated upgrade from last month. I'm really happy I was able to get out a surprise nideo this month - just wish I had thought of the idea sooner. It could have been a lot better and longer if I had more time. Still, I'm happy with how it came out - and it helped invigorate me with some new ideas that I'm eager to work on after FP4 is finished.

Once again, thank you all so much for your patience and support! You all have been superbly swell, and thanks to your continued contributions, I can keep focusing on producing absurd nideos for you wonderful beings. I'll see you all next month for the October update - until then, stay swell!
