Re-centering Myself & My Art

I've been completely unhappy with my art lately and I'm finding it difficult to even work on things. So to help with this I am calling whatever WIPs I have going done and moving on. This is only two images, one of a bun and another of Urn. I need to give myself a clean slate and try and refocus. (My comic project I will be continuing! Not stopping that!)
I'm sure this is all related to the current stuff going on in my life. The stress has definitely been getting to me... which I'm a little ashamed to admit.

That said, to help my in re-centering myself with my art I'm going to work on making some new characters. :D Something I can use to help spur my mind into being creative. Some of these characters will be used for upcoming projects after the First Impressions comic. Others I might just give away or sell.
Also trying to re-familiarize myself with the basics of art, especially when it comes to drawing bodies.
From there I want to re-examine rendering and style. I'm not happy with what I've been doing, it all feels too generic-basic-bitch digital art. I might try to do some copying of style from other artists I admire. Still not sure how I want to approach this one yet.
