one thing i just noticed watching this back is the thing ned always sed. the one who passes the sentence should swing the sword but dany dose not do that. she has the dragon kill them just thought maybe if she was the one actually taking there life she might have stared giving people a better option then follow me or die

2026-01-22 14:15:28 +0000 UTCProbably one of the biggest complaints about later GoT is how everyone just starts fast-travelling. Westeros is supposed to be as big as North America. That's why it took months to get from King's Landing to Winterfell in season one, even though they were using a road specifically designed to allow kings to travel around the kingdoms efficiently. Edit: While I'm here, I may as well speak on the geography of this world. Westeros is the size of North America but modelled after the British Isles. Essos is based on Europe, and the Valyrian Freehold is based on the Roman Empire, though Essos is as big as Europe, Asia and Australia combined. Sothoros, which for some reason is never mentioned in the show but is in the books, is meant to be based on Africa. Not fully mapped but if we base scales on our own world it should be the biggest continent. The ocean to the west isn't fully mapped, and there have been several attempts to circumnavigate the planet, so it's possible, and very likely, there are more continents, meant to represent the Americas. The educated do know the world is round but like our real history, they argue about how big it is.

2026-01-22 07:03:13 +0000 UTCtyrion is dumb, like what did he think was going to happen? who cares whether its dragons or people, they're still gonna die. in fact id say it will be less people dying with dragons as she just needs burn down castles who have a limited garrison. plus the red keep is just top of kingslanding. and besides aegon did way worse and guess what he won and made history remember him like a hero unifying the barbarian kings. (im exaggerating but my point stands.)
