In the books the abuse for Theon is even worse/more horrific one specific part is that in the books the boltons have one of Sansa's handmaidens who they are pretending is Sansa or Arya (don't remember which) and they are marrying her to Ramsay. Theon is also there during the consummation of the wedding and the girl is so frightened she isn't "wet" so Ramsay tells Reek to lick her to get her physically wet which is such a horrific power play to force Reek to rape a girl so Ramsay can rape her as well.

2025-10-26 08:42:36 +0000 UTCPretty sure they basically introduced Jeor Mormont as Jorahs father or it was mentioned by Jeor right after we met him, although maybe it was only heavily implied by telling the story about a son selling slaves while we also hear how Jorah got exiled because he sold slaves.
