So, an interesting little factoid about Arya's sword: This variety of weapon is called a smallsword. The triangular cross-section and narrow construction are designed to target joints in armor and enough integrity to make a nasty wound that's difficult to stitch or close. They were common sidearms for knights along with rondel daggers used for the same purpose. The lack of weight made them more suitable for evasion and weapon control rather than direct parrying as you would with a chunkier dagger or dirk, so they could be used as something more formal to carry when unarmored when a long or arming sword was not appropriate due to social or environmental factors.

Robert led a rebellion against him and named himself king afterwards. That's why the remaining Targaryens fled, and why some people consider Viserys the "rightful" king over Robert.
