Introduction

Hey everyone, I decided to participate in PixivFANBOX's 4th anniversary project.

Nice to meet you all, I'm saltywetspirit from Malaysia, if you are interested in the meaning of my name feel free to check out my profile.

Q1 What are the works you're most proud of?

Among my works there are 2 that I'm most proud of, 1st one is the 6 kokkoros one, she is my favorite character in princess connect Re:dive, it took me weeks to complete, it got me my most liked tweet until now.

2nd one is a nsfw drawing, i'll just leave a link here for anyone who's interested, I thought it would be interesting to lewd shadow person, and this is one most liked/bookmarked post on pixiv, it's also the drawing that made my fanbox starts to feel lively, I got my first pixiv request right after this.

Q2 How did you come to start creating stuff?

I've been drawing and taking art class since I was a kid, back then I can do realistic paintings and human portrait by looking at photograph, but stopped doing art for a few years when I was attending university, that's when I get into anime and doujinshi stuff.

After graduating I find working is stressful and I needed a hobby to relax, hence I started to draw again, but my parents dislike my art hobby, thinking it's waste of time, so I switch to digital because it's easier to hide than drawing on paper. I also switched to anime style because I am not satisfied with just copying a photograph, I wanted to create a doujinshi someday, I was inspired after reading Yukino Minato-sensei's work.

Hence I made a pixiv account back in 2017, and start to learn to basic of digital drawing and anime artstyle from scratch. Here are some of my old work before I started digital:

Q3 Share a memorable happy event in your life as a creator

I'm not drawing as a full time professional creator, I just do this for a hobby, so every small achievement such as getting a new fans on fanbox, receiving an art commission, or having my work getting in pixiv's daily ranking are all memorable happy events for me.

Q4 Is there something you want to try on FANBOX?

I would like to try and create gif/ugoira and doujinshi someday, I still have more to learn
