It was a difficult, busy night for you but he came in and made it special in a way you didn't realise you were interested in. Unfortunately, the difficulty came back when you had to leave the next morning, and you fell out of contact, literally. You couldn't find him again.
Since that night, you've been gently kicking yourself for letting something like that slip through your fingers. Since that night, you've been wondering if you'd ever see him again. You're not one to believe in lightning striking the same place twice... but stranger things have happened.
Aaaaand you can all consider yourselves thoroughly sequeled.
The bard's a bit more subtle this time, a bit more tender, he wants tonight to stick and feel more special than the last one did, so get in there and get him to sing for you.
No, really, I sing in this one. Twice.

Also - I noticed the first bard audio going on in the background at the beginning of the princess audio, so I love the callback that the bard saw them too (while getting his rocks off! Sometimes with more than the tip. ^^ Okay, now that that's out of my system, this was an amazing follow-up. Just as lovely, sincere, and charming, with an extra oomph of pining. It made me all warm and fuzzy, it made me laugh out loud (I'm so glad no one else was around at the time so I didn't have to explain why lol) and it was beautiful sequel to the first piece. You really cooked with this one boss. But then maybe it's the day I've been having, but when you sang right at the end I half dropped my phone out of shock and got a bit tearful if I'm honest. It's my favourite song from asoiaf and you sang it beautifully! So thank you, it was very unexpected, but very moving and a perfect way to end things. This has brightened up my day immeasurably 💚
