Personally I think they both work well, with a majority black and white figure you could go with any striking colour and it would tend to work. Black and white kind of sit outside the colour wheel so you don't have to worry about anything looking out of place colour wise. You could joke that you actually have a red army, the black and white are just supporting colours! I do prefer the red though as I think it adds an extra dimension to it by having red in the lenses and weapons, yellow in the gold (and a little bit in the white if you go with a creamy white), and green in the buttons and plasma which works well together. If the model had a chainsword it would still look good to have a black chainsword with yellow hazard stripes as the yellow and red work well together. Ed, Siege Team

Nice timing - what are your thoughts om this scheme vs the older scheme with the yellow weapons? Is the red superior from a color perspective?
