This shoot was so absolutely difficult! My initial plan for the day was to walk through the gorge and shoot at the falls, but upon our arrival to the destination, we realized we chose an absolutely horrible day and time to do this. It was a sunny Thursday, which during the week we thought it would be fine, instead the place was crawling with people. We made our way across the big log jam, where people were moving at the speed of ants, and made the 0.5 mile trek to the base of the falls, where alas, there were even more people! So we walked back through the chest deep glacier water, holding our bags above our heads, and made it to this little spot in the middle of the trail. We put our bags on the side of the rocks and attempted to shoot with people milling around everywhere. I think we pulled it off successfully but it was still a difficult place to be.
