Gotta love the idea of a weight gain sequence taking place under the covers of a bed as they sleep. Reality changes and other shenanigans like that as well. Maybe something like the protagonist picks up a large, luxurious bedframe/sheets/mattress from a thrift store for cheap, sets it up and tries it out, turning into the bed's previous owner. FtM or MtF would also be fun and if the protagonist has a partner, they would be talking from the other room, treating our newly transformed character as if they've always been this way.
