HP: Is It Wrong To Be A Sociopath In Magical World? [ Chapter 15 ]
Added 2024-12-04 16:10:28 +0000 UTCLooking over towards Draco, I didn't so much as blink before walking forwards and was about to go past him to get to breakfast when he jutted out a hand, with his wand in it, in front of my way.
Looking over towards him, I gave him a bored eyebrow raise while he smirked and said.
"Not so tough now huh mudblood. What? Did you think you could insult a Malfoy and get away with it while in this house, a noble house that your filthy blood shouldn't even be in-" He was going to continue, but I got bored of the kids whining so I just reached up and snatched the wand from his hand.
The look on his face was great as I just kept walking while twirling the wand in my hand, feeling it for a moment before letting out a small yawn and haphazardly tossed it over my shoulder not particularly caring where it landed.
As I stepped out of the common room, I smirked as I listened to the rushing sound behind me as the door closed.
Though I hurried forwards a bit, retracing my steps to the great hall, I waited by the entrance of the area, while holding off until I heard some quickening steps behind me before beginning to make my way into the hall.
And that's when Draco rounded the corner and saw me and shot off a spell right at my back as I entered the hall, with the teachers present as I stepped out of the way as the spell hit a Hufflepuff in front of me and forced the poor sods face to be covered in welts.
I held off a smirk as Dumbledore stood up suddenly along with McGonagall and Snape as Draco realized what kind of audience he did that in front of as I made my way to the Slytherin table and sat down to enjoy some nice breakfast while Draco was being assigned detention on the first morning.
Reaching forwards, I placed a couple items on my tray while Blaise sat down next to me with an analytical look on his face before starting to fill out his plate as well.
Of course my peace didn't last too long as Snape approach me from behind and asked.
"Mr. Malfoy says you attacked him and stole his wand, as the reason for his 'sudden' attack was self defense to share any light on the matter Mr. Grey?"
I noted that Blaise was now really interested in what I would do, something I'm sure Snape would catch on to.
So I just looked up at him in the eye, hoping that those shields that hat mentioned were really good and said in a confused voice.
"I stole his wand? But isn't that what he used to attack that Hufflepuff boy with? How could I have stolen it if he had it?"
His face didn't change in the slightest bit and I'm pretty sure I've just found someone who operates on a higher plane than I do when it comes to facial expression control.
And that's just really impressive, because I am very good at showing and hiding emotions from people. Still after only a moment he turned to Blaise and asked him.
"Mr. Malfoy says that you were there to witness such an attack. Can you confirm who is telling the truth Mr. Zabini?"
This time, I tilted my head and looked at Blaise, this time with the same confused and lost expression from before, he noted that as well as it took a couple moments, debating whether or not to sell me out, before he finally answered with.
"I didn't see Grey steal Malfoy's wand Sir, and Grey is right I believe Sir, if he stole it then he would still have it, and that's clearly not the case."
The man looked at the two of us for just a moment longer before turning and walking away with his cloak somehow getting enough air under it to billow in the nonexistent wind.
Looking over at the kid in my house, I noted that he seemed to think about what he had just done before noting my attention on him.
"You're good, I'll give you that at least Kits, it was either sell you out and deal with the repercussions as I've already seen what you could do to someone like Malfoy with only moments of time to plan, or deal with Malfoy who already knows I stay neutral in most of his affairs." I smirked, to which he actually almost flinched at as I turned back to my food and started to eat.
….
The first couple lessons really flew by, Draco had taken to staying away from me at the moment which I'm more than fine with, and Blaise has started to talk a bit more about random things than just him trying to trip me up for once.
So far Charms has just been notes about stuff I've already known about, History of Magic is incredibly boring and about ten times out of time.
I'll bring in something else to do instead of actually listening, though I have done some reading on my own time so I wasn't really behind in anything.
Astronomy wasn't exactly difficult and I'm pretty sure out of everyone present I'm the only one that was never affected much by the fact that we had to be up at midnight to have the lessons for the class.
Herbology was a bit dull but that wasn't really the teachers fault as really I just don't care for plants that much to be honest, so that class I kind of just go to without any real enthusiasm.
Well I say that but Defense Against the Dark Arts class was just stupid half the time I couldn't even understand the teacher and the other half I feel like I'm missing something that should just hurry up and smack me across the face so I can realize what it is.
