Changes and Patreon Makeover

Sorry for not posting for a long time. I went through some family and personal problems but luckily, I managed to get them sorted out. In fact, I'm finally living by myself again, which is something that has lifted my spirits very much. It means I can finally dedicate myself to the creation of adult/erotic content freely.

But the other reason I've been silent for a long time is that I have been thinking a lot of what I want to do and I didn't want to say anything until I was sure of it. Now, I am, so I'm writing this for the few who have supported me until now and anyone that stumbles here during these days, let you know about the changes that are coming here and what to expect. I realized I'm trying to cover too much and hence, the lack of focus. So I thought hard about what I really want and these changes are the result of that.

The first change I think I should mention is that I have decided to dedicate myself entirely to 3d. I love drawing, 2d, pixel art, and animating all that, but, ultimately the thing I want the most is to eventually be able to create immersive, interactive experiences. And in my opinion, 3d is the best way to achieve that. For now my focus will be using Daz for my content, and it's an software I absolutely love. But, making content for 3d games is not that software strong suit. So I'll be learning blender, making props for my stuff in Daz, until I can model decent characters I can use for games.

The second change is the kind of content I'll be making here. I'm still working on my tentacle game and I plan to keep making games after that. But, I don't feel like I should make the games this patreon's focus. Currently I don't think I can offer anything worth the wait to anyone supporting me and in the end it just makes me feel guilty and bad. So I prefer to just work on it until it's finished and then just sell it on sites like itch. Now, those who have supported me at any point of this patreon, don't worry: I already have the complete list of pledges and anyone who has ever pledged $5 or more until now, will get an itch key for the game when it's finished.

The focus of this patreon now will be my work on individual renders, posters, comics, etc. More or less the same stuff I've been sharing on Hentai Foundry. I will still make most of the stuff free and available there, but the thing is, Hentai Foundry has size limitations. So, the stuff I will be sharing here for patrons will be higher resolution versions and some exclusive poster images.

Also, I want to start making "serialized stories/comics" using some of the ideas I originally had for games and new ones. I realized I simply won't be able to make every idea into a game so I think this is the perfect solution. The idea is, I would start the story and leave it at a choice the main character has to make. Then patrons vote during a week for the one they want and at the end of the voting I'll continue the story from the choice that won the poll until the character has to make another choice. And so on until the story it's over, then we begin another one. Now, this idea can't really start until I get some patrons so I'll be making this my first patreon goal with a low amount. When it's met, then I'd start knowing there is enough people to vote.

Anyway, I believe these changes are for the best, for me and for anyone interested in my work, since I can actually deliver content on a regular basis, involve people in the creation process and we all have fun along the way. I'm pausing this patreon during this month while I'm working on the makeover, the makeover itself will take about a week tops, but pledges won't be charged this month anyway.
