Some changes for the good.
Added 2018-03-16 06:42:24 +0000 UTCHi! I come with good news. After getting frustrated and thinking a lot about it I decided to completely remove myself out of the art equation of the game (at least on the drawing itself). I'm having a hard time drawing what I want for the game in the time I have outside of my job and in the end it's taking me way, way, WAY too long. The RPG Maker stuff I can do it even at work on slow days but porn stuff has gotten increasingly hard to do there as I rarely get time by myself now. In fact, I already have completed the first 5 floors of the tower (that means until the first boss fight) and already implemented the crafting, infusion and random stats loot scripts. The idea is to make fighting rewarding beyond the erotic reward itself. I have also worked a bit on the town, fleshed out buildings for future NPCs that you will have to rescue and included a vendor for basic stuff while you do.
Also, the whole thing about getting artists to do some enemies pro-bono? I guess they all lost interest because in the end I never got anything, and it's ok, in the end it was for free so I never intended to pressure them or anything. So, what I decided to do? I will commission the entire game from Lustfire. If you don't know, Lustfire is a very talented artist and you can check Lustfire's works here: https://www.patreon.com/LustFire
I already had commissioned an enemy from Lustfire but it was one that is supposed to appear after the Bat Girl I was making, so the plan is to finish the Dog Girl and then start redrawing what little I already had (Amazon and the Mouse Girl). So a couple of bad news:
1) The update with the new art won't be ready this month. I will try to finish my Bat Girl anyway so that I can release an update with her and the Dog Girl Lustfire is working on in the meantime, then the next update will be the game with the new art.
2) Updates will be slow. With this I mean that after the game gets the art redrawn then it will be a new enemy or a couple of events each month. Sadly I can't afford more than that a month. The first thing I plan to do if I get enough pledges is getting in more content monthly.
But wait! There is a silver lining! Since I won't be in charge of the game's art and I'm already quite ahead on the RPG Maker stuff, I will be finally starting drawing and animating stuff for patrons as a way to properly thank you for your support on a more constant manner than the early game update releases.
Well, I think that covers the changes coming up. I honestly apologize for the continued delays, believe me, it really frustrates me a lot taking so long. But hopefully now this way the game will get on track on a steady pace, even if a bit slow.
See ya' this weekend with updates on the drawing I'm making. :)
