The fact that as soon as Matt heard her prayer he goes "Mom?" Matt Murdock has never known his mother, he has no memories of her, he never had a stepmother or other maternal figure to call "Mom." He's never called anyone "Mom" and yet, the instant he finds out, he just blurts out "Mom?" As a kid he probably wondered who the hell his mother was and his Dad never ever told him, and probably buried that wonder all these years, only for it to come crashing down

This is what is looks like when the villain actually makes the competent choices instead of leaving gaping opportunities for the heroes to defeat them.
