we NEED to get some better plans, guys… just one singular good plan, even 😭 | daredevil: 3x07 commentary!

“dont think you have some sort of proprietary claim to sticking it to fisk. this fight belongs to every person in hell’s kitchen.”

someone connect the newspaper guy to matt murdock for a lil convo, pls 😭

but honestly out of all the chilling scenes in this show, I think the one of karen just standing watching all the confiscated phones of her dead coworkers going off with their loved ones’ worried messages wins the award for most horrifying :/ truly AWFUL

(also foggy literally panic PROPOSED TO MARCI only for the born again writers to not even mention her at all?! heartbreaking all around, honestly)

& rip melvin, i guess? this was a ROUGH episode :/ but episode 8 coming soon! going to finally finish editing this entire season before any new shows come out 😂😅

Marci being ignored by the Born Again writers does sting. No mention whatsoever, Foggy's just single again and flirting with Kirsten also speaking of Matt's new suit designer in "She-Hulk", the way that episode had Matt tell Jen that he bought a bunch. That way if any suit gets damaged or he wants to switch colors, it's there in his rooftop shed. (or was? If that rooftop shed survived the explosion)

3:33: "Let other people like you go after Fisk." Like all good advice, it will be swiftly ignored. Also, they're ignoring not only Frank Castle, but literally the dozens of superheroes wandering around in New York. Is Fisk not even on SHIELD's radar?! 5:54: "All her coworkers are dead." The table of cell phones in evidence bags with loved ones texting is such a deeply powerful image I'm so surprised this is the only place I've seen it. 9:14: "I'm pretty sure that's what we're supposed to do." The real world needs the Fourth Branch of Government back like this. I want to read the thesis of whatever screenwriting student who analyzed Daredevil Season 3. There are no errors. There are no extraneous details. The subplots are woven perfectly. The narrative tension is delicately preserved.
