@4:19: "Dang, who signed up for this job?" I'm going to need my live-action comic book television adaptions to stop portraying the millennia-old order of martial arts assassins led by immortal crime lords to cease their use of disposable goons to demonstrate the lethality of their female super-ninjas. I'm talking to you, Arrow. @7:04: "I have a soft spot for hopeless cases." Matt effortlessly deflects every blow and uppercuts with a smile on his face. @8:32: There is something effortlessly clever about all the random objects in the foreground being bright yellow. @9:30: I remember Claire's eye roll when she figures out he's talking about Danny and reaching for the phone like it was yesterday. @16:07: "It's wild we didn't think of this first." Yeah, that goes hand-in-hand with the 51% revelation. @18:21: "All my babies are gone!" Another moment seared into my brain. You don't see this kind of plot point near enough. The Hand is evil. Not cartoon villainy evil. Murdering all three beloved adult children of a working class woman, tearing away her own world, for their lofty goals. @20:17: He absolutely did. He's just playing dumb. Yeah, it's a little gaslighty, but unlike her, he still has a secret identity. Also, Hogarth is going to pay for that. But, also also, breaking the camera is a pretty meaningless gesture, since the photos are on a memory card. Just pickpocket her, Matt! @24:28: Not to interrupt the tragic love story speculation, but this particular fight scene has some dubious understanding of physics. This episode belongs in classrooms. It contains some incredible examples of how to get from Point A to Point What Everyone's Waiting For, but also a couple of examples of some tacky exposition.

These are fun reactions; I'm really enjoying them. As an aside, in the comics Danny and Luke were very close friends and shared a few titles along the way, the most notable being "Power Man & Iron Fist" (Power Man being Luke's original hero name) and "Heroes for Hire".
