None of them knew much about it, but they were all in agreement that it was real, and ancient. It's funny to me that a crank theory would gain so much traction, but I guess every place has a similar thing. Some folks in Nova Scotia think that Cape Breton had an ancient Chinese trading post.

Locals definitely know of the region as a film location for German-produced Westerns, but I've never heard anything like the story Andy got. Sometimes if people sense you're kind of oblivious about the region, they might fuck with you.
