Which reminds me, this is my local Richmond Homebase (like Home Depot) and Currys (like Best Buy). It now looks like something out of a post-apocalyptic movie.
It's sad, but the memories remain, and I'd love to explore inside it as it stands now. Someday perhaps... If the keyholder is reading this!...

As electrician it's always interesting going round the staff only areas of places and seeing echos of the past. Sometimes even go above the false/dropped ceilings and see old signage and equipment left over from previous tenants of the stores. One co-op supermarket I went to had a ceiling above the ceiling and the old lights were still on and music was playing through all the old tannoy speakers up there 😄
