Hey Bizzle. I'm sure you've been asked this before, so I'm sorry if I'm bothering you. Will DoL ever make a return? I can't accurately express how much I enjoyed it. I've actually watched it in its entirety over 10 times. The first 5 episodes or so maybe over 15 times. I was a patron and when I saw you guys were stopping, I understood why, but is it forever? Would you consider a season 2? A new cast? A production company picking it up? My grandad works for Adult Swim and I've always considered showing him it. Mostly for you, cause your creativity is masterful. Those 3 were really "bad actors" tbh but it gave it charm. Just was wondering if this is the end of DIE of Laughter. Not to lift our struggling podcasters out of poverty (as the FF boys haven't had to worry about money for years). Not to help the one friend involved in the project that did need major financial assistance (B-Snaff). No, they get ripped off their asses from AM to PM, sometimes buy a bespoke tax write-off to use as a gimmick bit or a prop, and get pissy about the thought of actually doing a crumb more of work than talking to a camera for 3-ish hours a few times a month, playing videogames with friends, opening gifts with stale ass Norm Macdonald references as though that's entirely what standup is, and GOD FORBID editing a video. The DnD campaign is great. I would say it is the best thing anyone in the group has made in a long time. So having it die for the same benign reasons Sam has had so much trouble growing his channel (Won't hire more help, Stalltt is only trusted to censor and trim videos, a need to insert edgy jokes into nearly every conversation, extreme laziness, complacency in minor success) is a murder by neglect. One final thing, Sam has said he hates basically every single game that has boosted him in the YT algorithm at some point or another, tough shit, it's his fucking career.

That happened to SuperMega about 2(?) years ago and after a while there was just no good will left in the community to stick around to the channel when controversies started to arise. For someone with such an edgy past on YouTube as Sam has, he's either ignorant to the mess he's making by misusing his fan's good graces (and funds) to get stoned dawn to dusk with minimal labor on his part, or he's trying to beeline making PKA 2.0 where he pushes boner pills and weed gummies on Forehead Fables instead of making videos all together.

Really felt the show was about to make a turn for the better, but instead it turned into the guard rail and flew off a cliff, holding out hope for a coherent ending at least to wrap up the story, shame to see it end, seemed like a lot of good world building went into it

I know how the show is produced because we see the direct result and human brains are capable of inferring information. Let’s compare it to a normal working month of a normal person. 20 days, 8 hours a day. 1) They need to get on a call together for 2-4 hours, maybe more. They don’t even go over their notes lol. This is half a days of work for a working person. 2) Bizzle needs to edit out parts that suck. This takes roughly the same amount as watching the episode, so half a day to a whole day. We’re at 2/20 days for a normal working person’s month. Note that these shows are essentially 99% unedited. 3) Bizzle needs to come up with the story for the next episode. This is literally what people do in their free time who play DND regularly. 4) Bizzle needs to generate art using AI, which means he writes some prompts describing a location, etc. This is not particularly hard, since he’s not actually drawing or manually creating the art. So what we see is that not only does it take bizzle 18 work days to do steps 3 and 4, but 18 work days is not enough time to do it. Reality is this: if anyone in production worked the same amount of time a normal person is expected to work, they would have multiple episodes out a month.

I get not wanting to dogpile someone without knowing the inner machinations, but when it's been a few years now of a grown-ass man making somewhere around 6 figures a month feeling sorry for himself because he still "has to" edit a lot of his videos as he doesn't "trust" people to edit for him more than simple audio cuts or censoring; it gets a lot harder to empathize with this pity party he tries to throw about how he never has time when it's flanked on one side by them bragging how much money the Patreon rakes in or how easy his life is/has been recently, and flanked on the other side by how unwilling he is to make any changes that would allow him to relegate responsibilities and not be so "busy" with his YouTube channel.

Guys you don't realize it's too much to expect of the grown ass 30 year old professional content creator to be able to sit down for 4-5 hours once a month with his cohorts of even less responsibility to make an extra 5 figures a month. Every time I look back at any project Sam touches it's more pathetic and passive than the last, I'm waiting for him to make NFTs at this point. He just wants to cruise off of a podcast that has not seen any improvement in 70 episodes and ride his clout from being an old youtuber. Not only that he's great for absolutely sand bagging his cohorts to his shitty non-communicative and regressive style of channel management as well. Not to mention Sam's fucking allergy to hiring any outside help as other people just "mess things up" surely did wonders for this project (the boys needing to make EVERYTHING from music to animation etc. surely is part of spreading the team thin). im actually tearing up a lil... this has been such a blast. Ive seen every episode probably 3 times over, the shows gotten me through some dark times and has been the highlight of every month it gets dropped. really sad to hear its ending... really really really really unironically legitimately sad right now... the show was so awesome and hilarious at every corner I hope this won't really be the end :(

Is this an end of the show completely or the end of the campaign? The group just started to fully recognize what they can and should do. You guys obviously need an extended break from this but please don't end it. I know that I've complained my fair share here but nothing has made me laugh as much as these episodes and I'm not being exaggerative of that, I've almost fallen off a ladder at work because I was laughing too hard.

The charm of the production, obvious love and attention in things like the animation and artwork (the fucking puppets!) stood out in what's become a crowded genre.
