I want to share with you some pictures from my current restoration project. This is a JVC 36" D Series Consumer CRT. I am waiting for the replacement parts to arrive but have been making some serious progress. This CRT was owned by a smoker prior and had to be thoroughly cleaned. It was disgusting inside, but it's beautiful now. I should have the CRT back together by Tuesday! Later on I will be adding RGBS to it.
In case you are interested in the upcoming schedule, I will be doing a minor restoration and modification to a Sony PVM 20L5 next, so that PVM will get some new and fresh coverage. After that I have a stack of back log CRTs to work on. Please let me know if you need anything. Have a great weekend.

2020-01-17 14:16:19 +0000 UTCCool. I've never tried to use the service menu on this tv. I think the biggest problems on it were convergence an other yoke/magnetic problems. It will be a fun experience after I get it back together.
