Yes!! Big agree. I definitely think it's meant for contrast. I'm looking forwards to watching more, I've read a lot of stories of people who drop it then pick it up again and end up loving it :D

2023-07-26 11:04:31 +0000 UTCI think that "creepy pervy" guy shows that there can always be somebody even more "creepy or weird". If you would only have Ishikawa and nobody to "compare" to, it might be harder to get over his weird obsession with murder and death. (for the viewer) But yeah from now on the episodes only get better and better. I actually dropped the Anime with Episode 1 originally, but then there were a lot of recommendations for it and now it is easily in my Top 3 for Romance Anime.
