Useless yet Hilarious Inventions in China - Episode #90

That Chernobyl lego took me back in thought to my childhood. We had a Missionary church building in the fork two roads in a downward slope. So when the frost came one year, early in the morning a big semi with animal feed just slide straight and plowed through the old wooden building totally destroying it. Me and my friend overheard the adults talking about what would have happen if it had been 2 hours later when it was a big kids church group in the building. They did not noticed that we where listening and we promptly went to recreate the scenario In in lego with a breakable wall and a big semi. We then filled the house with lego kids. The adults did not understa what we were plying until we asked for ketchup to make it more realistic.

Random notes: I showed my 77yo mom the free egg and two sessions rap videos from your last ep and she was laughing hysterically. I was traumatized by CCP Milk. looks just like me. I feel like I’m collaborating w/Xi. I need to take a shower. Let’s hope 🇨🇳 and Russia “only” loosely partner on info warfare as 🇷🇺’s expertise paired w/the mass media saturation 🇨🇳 commands, would have awful consequences. Because 🇷🇺 is excellent at shaping Western discussion and getting us to self-deter. Even when they put out seemingly ridiculous + self-defeating propaganda, it’s usually intentional and part of a larger plan. But, 🇨🇳 is quickly improving through its work w/🇷🇺. Their successful creation of divisive HI wildfire narratives is proof that

Globalization has predictably become an own goal, but the West is suffering a crisis of disbelief that the profits and world order of the circa 1980-2010 era is over. It’s why you’re the only ones showing the full Chinese picture. We need to discreetly but quickly start shifting our supply chain to natural, nearby and reliable allies like Mexico for the US and the poorer European countries for W. Europe. I’m interested to see how long they will continue ignore or rationalize China let alone Russia’s leaders literally saying we are their enemies before they stop allowing 🇨🇳 to pillage our IP, hunt dissidents within our own borders, unleash drug epidemics, push around allies in the South China Sea, etc. w/out retaliating, trying to improve our security or simply acknowledging it’s happening. edit: sorry, just noticed the length of my two posts…been a year+ since I’ve had time to post (guess I got carried away lol). w/the war keeping analysts slammed. Speaking of which, I’d love if you did an in-depth episode on China’s relationship with Indonesia. They’re the key to the region. They’ve always tried to walk a middle path to leverage the desire of both to win their favor, it seems Indonesia has been more friendly toward the CCP lately.

What is one of your favorite books that you've read in Chinese? What is a book you've read recently or are currently reading? What do you think about it? I just recently finished a full novel in Japanese after slowly chipping away at for a half a year, every night, a few pages a night. Maybe you've heard or read it. It's called Convenience Store Woman or konbini ningen. Anyhow, I appreciate everything you done, and thank you for reading my question about your Japan trips. I miss the involvement of your family in your previous videos, but I wholly understand on why that stopped. It's just too bad. Keep up the good work!

My friend rode his bicycle while drunk during college and absolutely wrecked his shit when he rode off a 5ft ledge he didn't see (it was also nighttime and he was driving through a construction zone) - he literally broke his face, the bones in his face, and got some brain trauma (no helmet either) but he fully recovered in a few months. My friend vowed to never ride his bike while drunk again. A few years ago, he was riding his bike downtown (with a helmet, during the day, but it was raining) behind a car that slammed on their brakes in the middle of the rode (illegally, I might add, as the driver had missed a turn and wasn't paying attention), and he went through their back windshield - the helmet protected his face but not his neck, which got sliced up. The surgeons said it was only a centimetre or two from his jugular. Needless to say, my friend no longer rides bicycles.

A good friend of mine has been working in China since February. She is an 'actor' in the Universal Studios Harry Potter land. She says the actors' dormitory is jointly run by Chinese and Americans and they have their own vpn to use on the property. She posts to Instagram almost every day. I told her I cannot go to China, because I say stuff every day about the CCP, on all social media platforms.
