yikes!! wtf!?

From what I understand, the boys have said many times that they can no longer host subscriber meetups, they just get too big and way too out of hand. Too many people are upset by some of their comments and some of the video content. Think about it, they often expose things about the CCP which they try very hard to keep quiet and hidden from the world. The CCP is the worlds biggest and most oppressive government, now that USSR is no longer in the picture, and after all that incredible economic growth China saw since 2000. Besides that, the boys mentioned when they did have a meet up, years back, there were just too many people, and not everyone knew how to behave, and things just got out of hand too fast, making it hard for most to enjoy themselves.

This looks like where Winston found the work vest that turned out to be a adult diaper. :)

Q I loved Hunan food when I first got there as it is great, but how do people not get sick of it like I did? Thats what really turned me off to eating it all the time because its just the same thing over and over again, food my girlfriends' parents made was exactly the same as what I would get from the "fanciest" Hunan restaurant in Changsha, like thinking of Hong Shao Rou, I've had it hundreds of times and its always generally the same, difference in quality but still generally made the same, but for "western food" Lasagna for example is different in literally every single restaurant and household, is it that they think theres ONE way to make something and just always do that? Is it a lack of culinary curiosity or have I just not gone to enough places?

Q: I dont know if it is appropriate to ask but is patreon making your financial situation more secure or essential to continue your content. Just asking since I am a student and sometimes the money gets really tight but still want to support you guys as hard as I can.

I never considered this aspect -- during all my time in China I never saw this, and no one I know have seen it either. I do know bats are sometimes eaten in SEA and likely in southern China, but it's usually grilled or something. Bat soup is just so weird, so the fact that it was circulating around the time of the outbreak, at a time where censorship was really strict, that is certainly an interesting though.

Q (More of a recommendation tbh): Has Winston tried Whiskey mixed with 岩茶, like a 大红袍 or 肉桂乌龙茶? Listening to ep 26 and hearing him mix Whiskey and green tea was a bit of a shock as they don't pair well imho, but Whiskey with a high quality Rock Oolong is very much a thing. Been a viewer for probably 10 years now, one of the main reasons I was able to move to Beijing for 8 years, become fluent in mandarin, and attend the top school for undergrad, so it's finally nice to give back to the channel.

Q: hey guys something that has stuck with me since leaving china after 4 years living there is that a relative of my girlfriend in mainland would use hotel room kettles to boil his underwear and socks (domestically and overseas) instead of washing them normally, because he had pretty bad issues with his bowels and also wetting the bed.... i was later told by a family member that it's not 'that' uncommon to wash shit in hotel kettles ? i haven't used a kettle in a hotel since. Ever heard of any weird hotel stuff when in mainland besides the "business" cards slipped under hotel room doors?

Q. Just watched episode 26. I think I've thought of a way you can encourage viewers to donate during more during your China show episodes! :-D

Hey, guys.C-Milk I am surprised you missed my double reference in Friday’s show about ADVCHINA and the sex Ed.. That was your opportunity to talk about the ADVCHINA and Xiaban Hou! I thought you’d say, hey, thanks for Advchina reference but maybe you were thinking about Xiaban Hou about sex Ed. Plug for both, sorry I did not do it well enough😂.

q: any favorite shows you recommend? something to keep me sane until next Monday :) hope you guys have a great week!

soybeem

Love your show guys. You bring a different perspective than what the media shows China and its people. Continue with the Great work.

Q: Will you guys ever do a "Conquering America (USA and Canada)"? You guys could go touring America and have subscriber meetups

Some Dude

Q. Hannah’s question and your odd (to us) food segment just made me remember than before the news of COVID broke in the US, my Chinese friend showed me a photo she had gotten of a lovely woman with a bowl of soup with a bat in it. Did you guys see something similar and what are the chances the CCP put it out there to help direct focus toward the wet markets?

Cindy Chapman

Q: In Bosnia while my vacation in summer in Bugojno 2 hours away from Sarajevo(the capital) I discovered that there are a lot of new chinese stores but no one buys anything there because they only speak chinese and the average bosnian doesnt even speak english. What is your opinion about that maybe, money laundering and bribing the police is very easy there.

Robert Mahlzeit

Q It seems like the USA government want to ban Tik toc. Do you think that is something the government should do because of security worry or do you think the government over hyping this?

现年快乐!🎊

Q/Comment for next time. I watched your ADV China Doesn't Want You to Know. LOL I'd just had dinner. Minus the lamb fetus and placenta. Like you guys I early on suspected that the Wuhan Institute of Virology was the initial source of the Sars Cov19 outbreak. After watching your market and restaurant footage, the wet market hypothesis just gained new momentum as a viable hypothesis! What's your latest thinking on this?

Hannah

Q: C-Milk, have you ever been to the aquarium street in Hong Kong? Once I found it, I’d make a point of visiting it every time I was in Hong Kong.
