Looks like one of the members of Full Effect has a kid who is now a musician: https://issuu.com/tridentmagazine/docs/master_nov_2013_12_5 (see page 14). He also has a Twitter account which says he is a pastor: https://twitter.com/runningmymind

Sorry, I played the game back in 1998 when I was a teenager, I forgot a lot, I remember I was getting destroyed by everyone until I started using shield or buffing spells, the time mage I remember was good, the jumping dragoon knight was good, but yeah you gotta buff your guys, if you fight with no buffs you'll get clobbered after about the 10th battle or so. Check out Ogre Battle Tactics, or Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen, those are some good-ass bomb-ass games!

In my mind, the biggest problem is that China was given way too much power and I doubt if other nations would vote to undo that. What would China do to retaliate, that is what all the others would wonder. So, likely they will never take a strong stance, UN peacekeeping forces have rarely really kept the peace. The UN is a noble idea, but a flawed institution.

If I remember, they have said they take it with a bit of skepticism built into their reaction. You are right, part of that comes from Falun Gong and their questioning of some of that mindset. They also see it as a little sensational in approach but have said before that the show focuses on facts.

Hey lads! Happy double 10 day to the great independent country of Taiwan! My question is about the UN votes at the human rights council: Do you agree with me that we need to take a harder line on countries that “Abstain” instead of saying yes or no? I think abstaining is very cowardly and defeats any purpose of having a debate. You either agree with a motion or you don’t! Stop with the pussyfooting around trying to offend powerful states. If it were up to me, I’d get rid of abstaining. Do you think it’s a good idea for the western states to start playing China at their own game in the UN (not financially) and start treating countries that choose to abstain from condemning human rights abuses as countries that tacitly support them, such as China’s genocide or Russias invasion? Seeing as China has effectively drawn the line between countries that either care about human rights, or those who don’t, as you discussed on the last show, we need to pressure other countries to take a harder line. A few of these abstentions turning into yes could have swung the vote. Enough walkin’, walkin blind against these ungodly nations!

I've noticed that you guys can sometimes be a little cold about or even throw a little shade at China Uncensored. I know you've been on the show (or their podcast) a few times, but is it possibly because they may have connections to Falun Gong? Or that they oversensationalize their headlines? You guys are almost always on the same page, and I like how indepth Chris can go on some topics. Just wanted to get your thoughts.

Hey guys. Q1. What is the Cantonese word for “corn” ? Could be a holdover poverty thing. When I first traveled to Europe from the US in the late 50's and early 60's the toilet paper was sort of little five inch squares of water-repellent paper. Americans were advised to Bring Your Own TP.

Is there anything to traditional Chinese medicine? Or is TCM in modern China another fake, made up thing, like the spray-painted grass?

Hannah

Sorry about the long question last week, something I've never heard you guys talk about that really bothered me living in china is what is with the super tiny towels? My Ex's there and their parents always used what seemed like hand towels after a shower and gave me one too, but hotels had normal sized towels, whats the lore behind that?

question: do you think that "bridge the gap" would find some popularity in China and if so, in which communities, I think the novelty of it being an American band would go over well in the Christian areas in northern China?

Don’t be dissin the river. You need to understand Detroit, 93.9 played that quality rock. It was coming in from across the river in Canada what else could they call it?

I am! It’s getting easier the more I learn. What are the best classes early on? I have a priest, time mage, archer, monk, and a knight

HEY LAOWAI, you keep talking about final fantasy tactics being a hard game, are you buffing your tank fighting characters with your mages/priests?
