The Camping Escapades - First Map Insights

Hello my friends,

some of you had for sure a tough year! So you all earn the first pictures of the new map. I don't want to fuck up the performance and decided to involve a skybox for the background, layered in the back of a formation with usual objects to break the direct sight into the horizon (that would be quite ugly instead). 

There will be a nighttime version, too. I hink I can show you the pics next week - I'm testing around with the lightning right now. 

What else has been done?

• I created some AI-Voice (there will be 100 % voiced speech - no speech bubbles anymore!)
• I've done some polishement on the characters - escpecially on Annette (tweaked the face bone structure a little bit - maybe you won't notice) and did some edits on her clothing
• I prefabed some blend shapes for the voice speech to get some lip-sync and be able to recycle them in future animations (that are some kind different face-expressions, regarding the phonetic. For example there is a sad "uh" and a happy "uh", but that for "oh", "ah", "f/ph", "b/p" and so on as well)
• I gathered some atmospheric sounds (birds of the woods etc.)

I know, you all are waiting for new animation-clips, but the work above is fundamental for the quality of the whole story in the future. There will be an introduction video, I hope to release it end of january. The Camping Escapades is quite more story-based as the past movies, so that introduction should be a little longer and should provide you a feeling of its characters and the mindset they have (the AI-Voice is a big help there).

There will be a pick up scene (the girls picking our hero up with the car), a scene during the travel as well (in the car) and scenes, showing them build up the camp and getting along each other the first day (maybe our hero is able to peek something here and there).
