Early bird: How to write a (retro) song!

Dear Supporters

And now for something completely different! 🥾 When I've released retro songs in the past I've always received comments asking to show the full process of both writing a song, and recording the track.

So that's what I'm setting out to do here! I've decided to make this a 2 part project, as each part will be a little different in style and it means you can enjoy part 1 now: How to write a song, using my random notes technique. In part 2 we'll produce the song on the SID Chip, kind of ;-)

Oh and BTW you may remember about a week ago I asked you to comment random letters of the alphabet? Well hopefully all will become clear about that in this video! Thanks for your help ;-)

For the fellow composers among us my hope is nothing in this video comes across as patronozing. As always I welcome all feedback.
