Dear Patrons
Due to popular demand I'm trying something a little different this week based on our little channel's "most watched" video - the Atari 800XL Extreme Refurb (which has over 130,000 views now).
The intro to this video explains everything and why I'm publishing this new "edition" of the video, but I'd love your feedback here before this goes live at the weekend. I know I can't please everyone, but I can try ;)
At the very least, this new version contains highly improved & remastered vocal audio (thanks to you for allowing me to invest in better plugins), new shots, and... expect a special update to the ending of this video just as soon as I receive the footage...
If you'd seen the original video you'll remember I asked at the very end "Who wants to peel off the protective film" that was still intact after all it had been through. Well, I'm having that unpeeling professionally shot at Global Game Jam in Warsaw tomorrow, as a Retro Recipes exclusive (as much as peeling a piece of plastic can be!) It's a fun idea because I received dozens of comments urging that the film be peeled! And so the film peeling will be peeled and filmed!
