Perk (or punishment): MacPaint Art Gallery

Dear Patrons

Off the back of the Macintosh keyboard video, I would like to add for you dear folks that the reason I chose that keyboard is the happy years I spent using that exact one at my friend's house.

I never owned a Macintosh, but always loved it.

I looked up to his father who would write books on that clicky-clacky keyboard. He's now a famous author.

Which reminds me of a story. He'd finished writing one book on it, and noticed the option to "initialize" the floppy disk it was saved on. "How cute", he thought, "it's going to put my initials on it!" Moments later, the entire novel was lost. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

Anyway, as a perk (or is it a punishment), revealed here in this patron only art gallery for the first time are some of my MacPaint creations I made at that time! Not quite bestsellers, but at least I didn't initialize them.

Andy Warhol eat your Amiga's heart out! Or something.

Color Classic is a horrible machine to compare to an ST or Amiga. Its actually lower in power than the SE/30, only plus side is the Color screen and slightly higher resolution. The SE/30 is a great Color machine with a video card and appropriate monitor.

Considering what ST or Amiga you could get for its huge price tag (Β£5500 at the time). I found the mac se30 to be quite a limited black and white machine. Wouldn't mind to try a colour classic though to compare.

Well thank you! Not terrible for 13 I suppose! πŸ‘πŸ•ΉοΈ
