New software, new titles, new store, new you (well me)

Dear Patrons

I've been hard at work on the Brixty Four project and expect to have part 2 done by the end of the week. There's a surprising amount to do essentially releasing a new product to the public, particularly making sure the case design is as stable and solid as can be (a lot of tweaks were needed to the model). Here's where we're at! It may looks the same but it's much stronger and more compatible with the real PCB & keyboard.

I had to do this because with part 2 I'll be opening the parts file to the public, as well as an optional Retro Recipes store if you'd rather the RR kitchen mice do the legwork on changing the colours in the file and ordering all the bits from the various shops worldwide!

I'll give you valued personages the video file around Friday then around Sunday I'll invite you to beta test the store for 1-2 days before the public get a chance, if you'd like to order just the case and mount kits for a real C64 motherboard and keyboard, or even a Pi/Keyrah. It's all been designed and I'm excited to share!

In the meantime, I'm delighted to have upgraded my video software with your help, from the adequate iMovie, to the superb Final Cut Pro. As a result I took a break from the Brixty Four for a couple of hours and enhanced the opening titles today. That's what you see in the short video clip above! I hope you like. I like. Is nice!

See you soon and thank you as always for your support.

Your friend in retro,

Looking forward to seeing it...

According to my precise calculations, it will work with all PCB revisions. I'm making available a longboard and shortboard mounting kit πŸ‘πŸ•ΉοΈ

Great work, awesome update Chris! πŸ‘πŸ» Really looking forward to part II and ordering the bricks πŸ˜ƒ BTW: Does it require a certain assy nr? (Guess not, maybe just not a shortboard / 250469?) I have a spare 250425 that will probably be a great ingredient for this recipe πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³πŸ˜ƒπŸ•ΉπŸ•Ί πŸ‘πŸ»
