The History of Punch-Out!!
This is our next episode. Research is just about done. All footage and b-roll has been recorded. I also have interviews with Jerry Momoda and Don James, who both were involved in the first games development. Unfortunately, I couldn't talk to Mike Tyson, so here is a promo picture of him playing the game!
At the beginning of the year, Facebook approached me about joining their Facebook Gaming pilot program. I decided to try it out and see if there was any advantage to bringing content to the platform.
After testing it out for 7 months, I decided it wasn't for me. Therefore, we will no longer be making content for Facebook. We hope to rework the "Today in Video Game History" videos for future Gaming Historian episodes, so stay tuned for that!
RetroWorld Expo
This weekend, I will be at RetroWorld Expo in Hartford, CT. If you are in the area, come on by! I'll have a table in the vendor hall, selling shirts and some extra games I have. Please stop by and say hello! I'll also have a panel on Sunday. It will be a little preview of the Punch-Out!! episode, as well as a round of trivia.
