Added 2015-04-15 00:13:20 +0000 UTCWow, what a day. I usually won't get super personal on this Patreon, but today was...different. So my goal for today was to edit this new episode, release it for you fine Patrons 2 days early, and go to Costco to pick up some groceries. I was also hoping to treat myself to a slice of pizza! Well, on the way there, a car turning left pulled out in front of me and we collided. Everyone was fine and we exchanged insurances, so that is all taken care of. My car is most likely going to be totaled, which sucks because I love my car. For the first time in my life, I seriously felt like I was going to die. We must have hit each other going 45mph. I had maybe 1 second to slam on my brakes, but that was it. While waiting for a rental car, I pondered the choices I made that brought me to that exact moment, on that road, hitting that car. Originally, I wanted to go to Costco the day before, but decided not to. That certainly had something to do with it. That morning, I had to re-record a few segments for the episode. What if I had gotten it right the first time, allowing me to go to Costco earlier? To sum it up, every decision we make day to day affects our lives. Even the small ones, such as what I went through, can add up. My decision to pursue Gaming Historian full time is a pretty big decision. After today, I'm more determined than ever to reach my goals. Thanks for listening. Unfortunately, I can't give you that new episode today. I'm hoping for tomorrow though. However, I was able to get that slice of pizza...so that was nice. :)
