Update - Fumi and Kenji on a picnic

tl;dr - The PAL beta is coming up; I've made another bonus scene for the release and I'm working to get those commissions finished.

Out on a picnic beside a sleepy, quiet road in the country, Fumi, Kenji and someone else have some fun. This is a shot from one of the new commissioned scenes and I think it turned out pretty well - there's a follow up, too, and I may actually riff off this pose to get one or two more shots.

PAL beta

So just to be clear about it, I'm going to consider the next release of PAL to be the beta version, meaning it's feature-complete for the 2.0 release, but just needs a little while to run through some bug fixes. I've been cramming in little bits of extra content here and there, but all the really big stuff has been set up about right for a long time, so I don't imagine it's got a lot of major bugs. Still - if you see a bug please report it! I really want to get those ironed out before the 2.0 release!

New PAL work

I've just about finished an extra scene for PAL about Iku getting sprayed with whipped cream - I thought it would be a fun scene to have early in the game and, well, basically I thought of a visual idea and a pun and decided to turn that into a little scene. That'll be in the next release along with the rest of the stuff I've been working on.

I've been feeling a little bit creatively caged in, having to just finish off these last few scenes for PAL, so I've been a little short on inspiration over all.  That slows my progress. The PAT work I've been doing lately actually has a similar problem for me, because I have to work on the early bits that are going to show up in the demo and there's not quite so much room for spontaneity. As a palette cleanser here and there I've distracted myself sometimes by working on these little bonus scenes. 

I've been working on the commissions too, of course, and at time of writing (about a day ago) I'm hoping to get the Masami/Fumi ending done today, since that's pretty close to finished. The other two scenes will still take a bit of work, though. As a tool to keep the process a little more spontaneous for me I solicited suggestions for stuff that might happen in the scene from my Discord. I didn't get loads, but I got enough to work with, so I may try it again some time.
