tl;dr - I've made lots of progress on PAL recently and released two new alpha versions, I've paused development on LMO but I'll be back on it soon, and I'll be travelling for a couple of weeks.
This month's image
This is a special version of this image that I designed for the public update - basically I've removed an important spoiler and I've obviously censored it a little. It's a relevant picture for my current progress, plus I just happen to really like Fumi's pose here.
The real version of this image actually looks better, in my opinion, but I didn't want to show it because you should be able to look at these updates and still enjoy the game unspoiled.
Fast progress on PAL!
This last month I've made good, fast progress on Pervert Action: Legacy. It's not so much that I've been slacking off before, but things just seemed to fall into place well recently. Not only did I complete the Iku sex scene for the last alpha, but I also completed the next alpha, which contains... well, the scene involving the picture above. I mean, I did have a few significant bugs in v0.9.0 so I quickly addressed that and rushed out v0.9.1. This has involved voice editing, ADRIFT programming, graphics rendering and writing for the unfinished sections in the sex scene. It's quite a bit of work, but I've done so much of the leg work already that it's largely a matter of pulling a lot of things together at the moment. It's arguably even harder work now than it was before, but it's also more encouraging because I get to see the finished scene when I'm done.
Other stuff that I've completed recently has involved filing down a lot of the rougher edges of the game and implementing some of the cool little side puzzles and secrets in the game.
Let Me Out
I put Let Me Out on pause for a little bit; I didn't ditch the project but I just decided to double down on working on PAL instead so I could get another alpha done quickly, call me selfish. :) Also I was initially a little unmotivated to work on it since we dropped below the funding level anyway. Mind you, when I get back to it I've got some great early work done already, I think it's going to be really cool.
Travelling
I'll be travelling (or 'traveling' if you Americans prefer) for a couple of weeks soon but I'll still be working on the game on my laptop when I get free time. I might be a little slower to respond to people thanks to limited wifi, but I'll still be in touch.
