Teleport Puzzle

Hey guys,

So, we received a lot of "complaints" regarding the teleport puzzle. Before releasing it, I did tell Issac it was probably going to be a little hard to solve but we rolled with it, and my assumptions were right.

It is not our goal to frustrate our players. It should be challenging, but not to the point that it becomes a chore.

As such, for the Christmas patch we will nerf the teleport puzzle by making every teleport work as 1:1 to make it so that you always go back to where you came from if you take the teleport where you just arrived from. Right now it doesn't work that way.

Additionally, we will reduce the number of platforms from 16 to 12 effectively reducing the number of teleports by 16 as well. This will reduce the teleports by a whopping 1/4th.

We estimate that these changes should help you guys find the solution close to 3 times faster than before. It's how it should be done in the first place, and we're sorry for dropping the ball on this one.

It is our only goal to have our players enjoying our game to the fullest, not to place scenes behind frustration walls and inflate game time with pointless content.

Regarding everyone that loved the Halloween patch and wishes we worked on it more often. It also saddens us that we only get to work for it 2 months every year, and that it will take another 9 months until we get to work on it again since it will be on early September. It was refreshing and a joy to work on it, but we can't steer away from our roadmap. While we, with the current team can't promise we'll work on it more than we initially aimed to, I hope it serves as consolation that we as well, share your desire to see it become a lot more than it is.

Who knows maybe in the future and with a bigger team we can put some resources towards it every patch. I hope it serves as well as a small indication of how our future games will be.
